After 3 years, we visited the Volkswagen showroom again – Das Welt Auto Rzepecki Mroczkowski in Poznań. This time to expand the photovoltaic installation, which we implemented in 2021. Our task was to place photovoltaic panels on the roof and, due to the lack of space, also on the ground structure. To connect both installations, we also had to make a trench over 200 meters long for electric cables. For this project, we used 468 photovoltaic panels. In total, 600 panels with a total power of 193kW supply electricity to the Volkswagen showroom. We installed 4 inverters with a total power of 200kW.
In addition, telemechanics were used for the photovoltaic installation. Thanks to this system, you can, among other things, control and regulate the flow of electricity between the installation and the power plant. In addition, telemechanics is also used for installation diagnostics, fault detection, performance optimization and remote communication using an application. Fire protection switches ensure the safety of the installation.
