Because Google LLC is headquartered in the U.S. and uses technical infrastructure located in the U.S., it has joined the EU-US-Privacy Shield program to ensure an adequate level of personal data protection as required by European regulations. As part of the agreement between the U.S. and the European Commission, the latter has stated an adequate level of data protection for companies with Privacy Shield certification.

Server logs

Using the site involves sending requests to the server where the site is stored. Each request to the server is recorded in the server logs.
