Our activities at a photovoltaic farm in southern Germany. We replaced the used photovoltaic panels with new ones, which are made using new technology and are therefore more efficient and durable. One new panel will produce as much energy as 3 old ones. In this project, we replaced 7,800 modules.
The empty spaces visible on the photovoltaic tables are the result of technical and formal requirements. These gaps will be filled at a later date.
The used panels will be sent to a specialist recycling company, where raw materials such as glass, aluminum and silicon will be recovered from the panels.
