In front of the Wielkopolska Recycling Center office building in Jarocin, we built a photovoltaic shelter for 13 cars and a carport. 115 photovoltaic panels provide energy, among others, to two electric car chargers. The carport can charge 4 vehicles simultaneously.
In order to connect the newly constructed installation to the plant’s electrical network, we had to make a 160-meter trench for cables, including a 30-meter push-through under the entrance gate to the WCR area. Solar shelters and carports are a functional and innovative combination of garage space with the production of green electricity.
