The photovoltaic farm was built on a reclaimed landfill site. It is the first such installation in Wielkopolska and the largest in the Jarocin commune.
The site where the farm was built was closed in 2014. It was subjected to reclaiming, i.e. special agrotechnical procedures aimed at properly securing the waste deposited there. According to the applicable regulations, no construction can be built on the site for 50 years after the landfill is closed. However, there are no contraindications to building a photovoltaic installation there. The area of the crown of the site is 0.8 ha.
